About Me

Hello! My name is Ashlee Martine. I am married to my soulmate Josh, and we have two beautiful daughters together, Kinslee & Keelyn! I am a birth and postpartum Doula. I am also a certified childbirth & Lactation Educator. I have many years of experience, as well as two kiddos of my own! I am also currently enrolled full-time in college, working towards my doctorate in Midwifery. I love to learn and believe a person can truly never stop learning.

So you are probably wondering how I got started on the path to serve women... Years ago, (about 8 to be exact.) I had a midwife deliver my first daughter, Kinslee. That day changed my life, not only because I had the most perfect baby, but I also found my true calling in life. Which was to serve women as a Doula, and eventually a Midwife. Everything about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, etc. excites me. I love helping women achieve their dreams in having a natural (or medicated) birth. A birth that she will look back, love, and remember for the rest of her life. As many births as I've gotten the privilege to attend, my preference is home births, water births, and of course birth center births. I however, have no problem doula-ing for a wonderful mother at a hospital.

I am a birth & postpartum doula who offers Doula services, Childbirth & Lactation Education, Placenta Encapsulation and so much more! I serve clients who are giving birth within a 50-mile radius of Smithville, Missouri. This includes, but is not limited to; Kearney, Smithville, Platte City, Jackson County, Clay County, Liberty, North & South Kansas City, Overland Park etc.
